At the Parish Council Meeting on 19th July, the council discussed the public meeting held on 7 July, to consider having a neighbourhood development plan (NDP) for the Parish.

The Council concluded that there seemed to be sufficient interest and support from residents for the venture, and decided, therefore, that a NDP, to cover the whole Parish, should be prepared.

The next step is to establish a steering group to lead the NDP preparation.

The Council appointed Iain Pearson and I (Sue Biggs) to representthe council on the steering group.

Residents of the Parish who have expressed an interest in serving on the steering group, or help with the necessary survey, will be contacted by e-mail and an initial meeting will be held in September. If you would like to take an active role in the plan preparation, but have not previously indicated this, please contact me, via Chairman@kepc.info.

In the meantime, South Oxfordshire District Council has been notified of the decision to draft a NDP for the Parish.
