Fraud experts have issued a warning over missed parcel delivery cards designed to look like they are from Royal Mail, but which are actually a scam.
A card from PDS, the Parcel Delivery Service, is posted through the door saying they have been unable to deliver a parcel and giving a phone number to call and make a date fore re-delivery. The number is a premium number and anyone calling it is immediately billed for £315.
Always check if the card has the Royal Mail logo – the fraudulent cards do not.
